There’s a new deli in  Montclair!  At Gruber’s Gourmet Deli, open 9am-9pm every day except Tuesday, everything is made in house. The menu includes both hot and cold over-stuffed sandwiches ($6-9), ½ pound burgers ($8-9.50), and fries, Philly cheese steak ($9), hearty gumbo ($7/small or $12/large) and a wide variety of homemade salads.  Specialties include chicken soup with matzo balls ($4.50/cup or $8/bowl), Bubbe’s Kugel ($4), mixed berry cobbler ($3.50) and lemon bars ($2.75).  Dinner Platters include rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes ($11/half chicken or $15/whole chicken), a meat plate with tri-tip and barbeque ribs served with fries or baked beans ($14) and a Mediterranean falafel platter ($8).  Gruber’s also has lox, whitefish and a large variety of take-out dinner items.  The Sunday BBQ features ribs, chicken and tri-tip.  Gruber’s also has a Kid’s section on the menu and serves breakfast all day.  Gruber’s Gourmet Deli, 5736 Thornhill Drive,Oakland 510.339.3989, www.grubersdeli.com
